🐪 🐈Amazing to be here in the early morning

The climb to the monastery is totally worth it. 🇯🇴 Petra is a famous archaeological site in Jordan’s southwestern desert dating back to around 300 B.C.

Its most famous structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh, a temple with an ornate, Greek-style facade, and known as The Treasury. It’s has left forgotten for 500 years until it’s rediscovery in the 19th century 💯 🇯🇴 Amazing to be here and just climb on rocks to see this beauty. What’s also the theatre in the end of the movie!

🙆‍♂️ Hey Hercules Feeling so small jumping on the ruins of the Roman temple of Hercules Near the temple, which was built around 166 AD, some hand and elbow fragments were found. They belonged to a statue of Hercules and is estimated to have stood over 13m high. Little boxes as far as you can look What a sprawl! 🇯🇴 Amman in all her glory! Just look at that view. In the early 20th century, the British empire ruled the country. After WO2, Jordan became an independent Kingdom. Jordan now is a safe country to travel to Jordan has the friendliest Arabic people I ever met. While Israel & Lebanon host great parties with alcohol, Jordan is home to the friendliest smile without alcohol. The location can best be reached by foot from a local hotel in Petra. There are numerous direct buslines from Petra to Amman in three hours. Recommend to arrive at 06.30am in the morning to avoid the crowds. This is the location on Maps.
